For all that do not know, when the timer runs out in hoh, everyone on the map dies except the winners and everyone that has died on the winners team after time has ran out resses with 300(somewhere around that) life ( no way.... I know sorry to make some of you feel completely stupid now for telling you this info
Spirits on the other hand, if they are on the opposing team, take effect just seconds after the timer has ran out. Eoe in particular does this alot which is quite annoying.
I know i know, why are you complaining? thats the spirits job, to trigger on deaths of anyone on the map.
Well after the win sign comes up and we res, everyone else dies, and eoe kills almost everyone that has just been ressed.( eoe is doing major damage here. ex. most eoes are doing 40 dam. 2 teams lose. 40*16=640 damage)
Now we all know some spike teams like to bs around with the holding team, killing off some memebers before the 3 or 2 minute mark. This means resses are used doing that time. This means at the end, when a eoe *might* be down, people on the winning team that dies due to this might not be ressed to pick up their drops from the hoh chest.
And heres a picture of this exact thing happening to me...
i lol'd that day. but in the end i didn't really care as it wasn't a ces.
Now im not complaining about this but Anet can you possibly make it so that spirits such as edge do not do their effects when time runs out on alter matches such as the halls so everyone can have their fare chance to pick up their item.
