FoW Chest Run

Q: I've gotten 5 golds down in FoW over 3 runs and all of them are basically crap. I got a Shadow Shield, 2 Chaos Axes, 1 Shadow Staff, and a Mesmer Item. I'm asking what the most profitable items would be down there and how much they'd go for? and whether chests in FoW have taken a "nerf".

Uuh... crap? Most people would prefer to get a shadow shield or chaos axe from a drop... those seem to be pretty 'hot' items, those and the shadow blade

whatever weapon you get that does +15% while hp is above 50% is worth more then the key you buy
also if you get 20% modes..... but it realy depends on what

sometimes try to salvage crap, maby you can get a decent upgrade...

well i get chaos axes and shadow shields, but the mods really suck. Like listen to this I got a +1 Water Magic mod on the shadow shield (chance 11%) lol!

ya but all you need is one and your set, like a 15^50 req8 Chaos or Crystall and you right your own ticket lol. I wasted 50keys maybe but got one good Gold Crys sold for 800k. So my advice keep it up.

hehe... one day i got a gold fire wand, req 10 air(!?), +1 earth (9%), halves skill recharge on water (15%)

Oh yeah, those chest runs. Most of the time it is best to just sell it UnIded. Yeah, yeah, people are wary about testing, but people will buy it. Best one is where I sell a Req. 8 UnIded Chaos Axe from Chest Run for like 75k. Then he types "YESYESYES!!!!" and tries to open trade. He shows me a 15% Always Chaos Axe w/ -1 HP regeneration. Meh, probably the worst of the negatives anyways, but yeah. The next 10-15 times, guys showed me utter pieces of crap, lol. Safest bet, sell UnIded.

its true.... once i got a gold chaos axe req 9, souldve sold it for at least 50k! but i HAD to see what were the mods! long story short, i end up selling it for 5k!

i have been on 10 chest runs... it always ends up being me and some other guy making it far, then the group splitting up and dying without even getting a chest.. is it jsut me or do most groups suck and not even know what charge and sprint are.. ?!

Gold Crystalline is a HOH chest only item.

in TOPK you get (sometimes) decent drops from chests.... alot of Storm Bows, and if youre luky and its a 15^50, its worth alot.
and an enormous quantity if Raven Stuffs.... makes good wood lol

No it isn't.

im pretty sure Crystallines can be dropped anywhere on the map....though it is just very, VERY rare, they are however, most often found in HoH chests

no purple crystalline's can be found anywhere, gold can only drop in HoH, and UW chests (very rare tho)

yes, rotualave, if you do have a picture i would love to see it .....i am a tad skeptical myself, being one who has done at least 200 chest runs before and maybe found three decent weapons

Well I did a run one time and I had this:

Zaelous Shadowblade of Enchanting (19%)
max dmg 14^50

Was nice to get, even though it is that 1% off for the damage, I now have a nice sword. (and if I would sell it, I would earn my 10 keys I bought back easily)
