REMEMBER THESE ARE ONLY SUGGESTIONS:

Simply put...when a player exits a town into a "zone" they get their own little personal copy of the map, and coded onto those maps are AI "Spawn Points" where enemies appear and have a radius to the distance they can move from that point.

Here is the suggestion: when a player/group/party exits the town and enters the zone the server will read the amount of players in the group and automatically accomodate the amount of spawned mobs for exploration mode only (quests will have the same amount so quests are meant to be played with teamwork)

But when not doing a quest and you enter a zone without any other party members then the amount of spawned monsters should be reduced to accomodate the lack of extra help thus making is so you dont get slaughtered on your own, this will allow a player to raom around freely and explore the map without having to share gold and item drops with henchmen (unless you can actually find other people who just roam around with you), as well as since there are lower mobs there is lower drops so it wont boost the player dramatically in any way, with this they can accurately test 1 vs 1 builds for their player so they can make better use in pvp and pve groups (they wont have retarded builds that do nothing yet they THINK they do soemthing because the rest of the team kills the monster)

the size of the party and drops is already set up

you can try it with fewer than recommended to increase your chance of a drop going to you but they are not going nuts adjusting it every time for everybody

no it is already per-set that the number of monsters etc. spawns at a certain location blah blah blah, but it wouldnt be too hard for them to make it so the game simply reads the party amounts then reduce the monsters that spawn.

Either that or weaken the enemies depending on the party size...that would work too...but then it would have too many drops and be a farm factor...

With the right build and enough care, it is not too hard to make it around with only 1 or two other henchman. I've made it across some explorable zones without any party at all...
It is definatly a challenge to solo, but that's what makes it fun
