Mirror Exploit- One time thing?

Ok I just fought mirror self at level 20. I didnt get a screenshot because I couldnt, the folder was full. But here is what happened.

Ok I did the 3 missions, was facing off myself with a wand. Ok, this was going to be easy, right? A few seconds after I degraded the guy to 1/4 life, I crashed. When I re-entered the game, I was at dragons lair...

Ok, wtf!?!??

If you made it to Dragon's Lair, it means you have ascended.
Maybe your guy continued attacking after you crashed but before the server registerred that you had left the game. You killed your mirror self and the game sent you to Dragon's Lair before realizing that you had disconnected, then removed you from the server. You logged back in and find yourself in Dragon's Lair. Either way, you won the fight and ascended so no harm done.

I did ascension with my first character and crashed while in the next area. When I logged back in I didn't have that area anymore. Maybe it's karma heh.

You can fight your mirror anytime, its kinda fun to do every once in a while... especially if you give it alot of firepower to work with.

Funny. I just made an elementalist. I left pre-searing Ascalon as planned...then all night I'd get randomly asked for my password by a window prompt in GW. When I'd enter it, I'd be teleported back to the Academy mission. This happened even after I'd completed two missions post-searing!
