You know in Diablo 2 LOD, on the number pad to the right of the keyboard, mash a few numbers and you can hear your charcters voices. How about a type to see what a Guild Wars charcter would say. Having a number of diffrent phrases.

>.<, and I just noticed my laptop doesn't have a right keyboard panel. lawl XD

And no flamers about voice spam in districts, cause you can't hear EVERYONE's voices just yours, when you are pressing the numbers.

I've been thinking about that too, that you could select form a few voices in the character creation. it would be nice.

something similar to Diablo would be nice.

It's basically like "calling targets" except w/ voice over sound. (teammates can hear it during battle areas. pvp/pve)

only problem is, numb pad is already in use for skills? (never bothered using numb pad on right side of KB, if they have seperate functions or not on the KB)

Wandering my own road.

I could actually see this as being fairly useful, for PUG's in PvP, and in PvE as well; No matter where you play, when the action is going, it can be difficult to both broadcast your situation (depending on what's wrong; It may or may not be a simple ctrl+click), and also to have people NOTICE what you're saying.
Amidst target calls, other people's spammed ctrl+clicks, and people focusing on the action, sometimes what you say is missed; People may not be able to concentrate on the chat section and read the lines while fighting-

However, vocal cues would help with a lot of that. Simple phrases to express low health, or low energy, that you're in trouble, that you're ready, and so on.

Of course, the question is how to discern between multiple people's voices talking at the same time x_x That and likely more.

As a note, yes, I'm aware the ventrilo and teamspeak exist; However, not everyone has their own server, and not everyone may be able to get a person in their team with one for PUGS and PvE areas.

It could be like the radio commands on Counter-Strike. You would press a certain key, and a menu will appear on your screen. That menu would have voice commands labeled with numbers. When you press a number on the menu, you and your teammates would hear your character say the command outloud. It could also appear in team chat. Just a suggestion.

100% no.

It would be good just like ts or vent.

It would be bad because morons would spam the pvp chat with.

Voice: REZ ME REZ ME REZ ME REZ ME REZ ME. Why don't you rez me You F-ing noobs!

Imagine how annoying that would be.

Now multiply it figure out that about 80% of the population of gw would abuse the system.

Simple add a cool down time between vocal cues.. Similiar to the length of the one in Lion's Arch chat channel

Bah this would just take up more server bandwidth, and slow the game down more. TS server can be hosted for free on your comp. A simple download and setup.
