Yay first thread! Rit types!
Megla Zero
Hmm, what type of rit is everyone gonna make this weekend?
I'm basically planning on making a weird type of "Spirit Summoner" this weekend using Ranger and Ritualist spirits to see what the outcome I can get is. Dunno how well it will turn out though, since I can't have many (if any) of the prophecies skills that I know.

I might try to make a necro/rit, or ele/rit, Since there are a lot of things that a ritualist has to hold to activate, an attack heavy proffession might not work well when paired with it...just my guess. Good idea for a post though.
Boots
Its kinda hard to post builds for this weekend, since we dont know what skills will be available. I dont think all the skills will be, but Im not sure
Toxic RD
Ri primary, then im gonna mess round will most of the classes, i think a Ri/Me will be interesting
ForeverGoNe
Ri/N maybe?
There's some key summoning spells that both classes can yield to that really help each other out.

Ri/Me looks to be a pretty interesting combination if you ask me.
The weapon spells the Ritualist has are what I am most interested in.. Wailing Weapon and Weapon of Shadow should prove to be fun
Hopefully a good amount of skills are in for this weekend.

My fifth or sixth character slot when Factions comes out is going to be a ritualist restoration healer. Since Restoration is feasible as a secondary, I want to see how well a Me/Rt works out using mesmer's fast casting and possibly inspiration for energy. I want to be a healer because there is going to be a shortage of them like how there is a shortage of monks now so it will be easy to get into groups.
Finn
Probably will start out with a Rt/N. If I have a chance over the weekend I would like to mess around with a bunch of different combinations, just to see new skills available for the different classes.

Ah but the thing is, we do. If you played the PvP Factions event, you'd know them.
GWG has a database or list of them somewhere.

i heard some guys talkin bout ( I DID NOT THINK THIS UP ) w/ri for uber small party farming. if the tank was good he can aggro and then drop the ashes for some pretty devestating effects.

For my Rit, I think I will go Ri/N this weekend, just to feel out the new Nec skills. Rits may be fun to play, if Anet beefed up the spirit skills (spirits that die in 5 seconds and take 45 seconds to recast is kinda dumb). Not sure if I'll go with Monk as my lead secondary or not. Prolly Nec (to unlock new MM and Order skills) and then have Mes and Monk as other secondaries.

I'm going Ra/Ri passive spirit spammer. I'm guessing I'm never going to get into a group... but I don't care. It's going to be so much fun.

Which is why I'm not playing either this weekend.

ri/nec ftw minion master wanna be with boosted dmg and health o.0

Rit/R
Channeling and Animal master
Spirit and..... Animal master
DAMN! Heal of one in beast mastery is cool. You get heal (over 130 at lvl 10) and your animal too when it is below than 75%.
For the moment at the beta, I have Channeling and animal

I dont recall ever seeing that Spawning Power increased the Level of Minions, only their defense. Correct me if I am wrong. Reguardless, you pretty much have to be a nec to play MM because Soul Reaping fuels your energy to raise minions. You can try to use Attuned was Whatsherface, but all that does is make you a bigger target in PvE.

I tried a Ri/E, but failed miserably.
SnipiousMax
Probally cause it's not the GW's equivalant of 'blue'.

Trying to do Lightning spammer and Spirit?
For me, Channeling Rit/R worked good. Doing over 150 dmg at one shot in a AoE was cool.

When making builds try to make stuff that "synergies", making maxium use of the primary attribute.
In all honesty, Rt have some of the most powerfull defensive skills in the game, namely spirit transfer, shelter, union, weapon of warding, and a couple others.
Rt are defenitly more powerfull then the Asn, mostly because of the situationnal heals. All you have to do is build a PvP team around spirit transfer, match it with the Mesmer skill Channelling, and you've got it made!

I think I'm gonna try a Monk/Rit for restoration secondary. Either that or a Rit/Monk, which do you guys think would be better?

Your choice: Spawning to keep your spirit alive vs Divine Favor to heal more.

If you're wanting the very strict five energy skill spamming healbot, then go monk... If you were wanting some spice and variety, and challenge, then play a Rit/Mo. Ritualist can play a healer or a protection type of role, but it will require a very different play style than a monk. And If you were planning on being a smiter....then I'd hope you'd reconsider and play a rit!
