I think he is asking if amber and jadeide can be used for anything in the free preview event (FPE).

And to that, I have no answer, cause I'm working now...

Those are the items or materials you can redeem with your Kurzick or Luxon faction.

As Anet told us on the official site jadeide and ambre will be material used to craft elite armors.

Hm ok but when, where and who?

(it says on the update page: can be collected this FPE, used for special armor. but it doesnt specify if it actually has a use this weekend...)

It can be found in Vasburg armory for the non luxons. Haven't done the missions for the luxons yet.

the armour seems to just be faction 15k version.

I too am wondering where we can transfer the Alliance Faction pts we earned. And do we retain the Faction pts we earned this FPE, or we gonna loose it all after the FPE?

You can exchange the faction for the rare material 1000 points for one item, or you can spend it on your guild so you get alliance points 5000 for 10 alliace points. only 2 options i know of so far

Well, I tried going to Vasburg (go south).

But I ended at a closed gate. Then npc was telling me to speak w/ Count @ House zu Heltzer and I also need my guild leader to actually pick "kurzick" as a side, before I can access the southern side of the kurz map...oy...

Ill check again about this...

added: someone mentioned doing the acquire 10k factions pts gets you to eternal grove. (That's the closed area). Vasburg is close below. Anyone went past Eternal Grove yet? screenie would be nice.)
