Healing Light. (0-12 range)
5e, 1sec cast, 4recharge.
Heal target ally for 40..88 health, and if that ally has an enchantment on them you gain 1...3 energy.
Its good there, but at higher healing I bet you can get a 1e cast out of it and it heals almost for 100.
PWNS COMPlETE FACE.
protection gets a decent elite and some decent skills.
Life sheath (0-12 range)
5e, 1cast, 7recharge
for 20 secs, the next 30...126 damage target ally would take is negated.
theres also a decent hex removal in the prot line, costs 10e though. removes a hex and then gives sort of a RoF effect without the getting healed (just negates dmg).
SMiting prayers I still aint impressed with. They changed Symbol of Wrath's name to Kirin's Wrath (same skill), and we get to see an elite. Which blows almost as bad as MOST smite skills almost do. does /decent/ amount of holy dmg, with 10ecost and 2sec recharge, but if their low on health it takes 22sec to recharge...
And we get to test NO divine favor new stuff :\
If it weren't for Healing Light I'd say Monk got jipped, but Healing light pwns face.

Healing light is still a 1 sec cast, so i dont know how good it is vs spike teams, but it clearly is a good nrg management spell, and a welcome boost to the healing prayer line i think.

feel free to completely drain that flare/hex/vamp gaze/etc spammer + it's a perfect counter against e-denial.

I think I would still rather take Word or Edrain over Healing Light. I'll need to test it though I suppose.
