An alternative to the 55hp monk for farming?

I just got the -50 hp cesta and realized there is no way I can afford a 55 hp monk, so what should I use as an eltarnative monk for farming? Can you give me the skills,gear,etc...

uh...i believe there is a 55 ele? not sure if it was 55 or 105. You might want to check up on that. Reguardless its MUCH cheaper. I'm currently gathering all of the skills to make one.

You COULD buy all major runes and solo smaller groups. :P

I wouldn't do it but it's possible.

It COULD work actually if you died a few times to drop your life low enough

Just farm with a warrior.. or you can do a warrior set up on a monk.. mend , live vaciriusly, vi.g spirit. cyclone axe its been done before and ive farmed trolls with it to test it lol

Then there is 55hp mesmer, also for uw.

55hp Necro used to work well in the UW before the Nightmares. Cause you could just SS and curse your enemies. I think it was a N/Me, basically the same one that is used in smite runs. I could be wrong on that but i think thats what it was, same skill set as a SS/SV necro. I wouldnt try it in the UW just yet but try it somewhere else like outside Augruy take on some Minotaurs.

prices of runes dropt total cost is like 22k for full 55hp (well last time i checked!)

There is a build useing devine boon 3 self heals,shield of regen and zealots fire.This is with all minor runes .

With zealot's cast on you, you have to time your heals so your aggro doesn't scatter everywhere. That would be a bit hard in UW.

As far as rune prices, they are DROPING like crazy right now, if you want to make a 55 monk now is the time!

There is a 55 version of a Me/Mo too that works... but don't do that... we Mesmers want ya to suffer.

Zeolots fire
balthazars spirit
essence bond
reversal of fourtune
blessed signet
<some more skills that I can tremember go here>

I wouldn't say I'm that good, I've just had alot of practice before I even released the videos.

For the O.P. I would make an invinci-necro, cheap, effective, and deadly. As a bonus the -50 offhand has a blood requirement so it's kinda just begging you to make a 55 hp necro with it.

You can solo just about anything with it once you get used to the build and it will cost you a fraction of what it will cost to make a 55 hp monk.

I just made a 55 monk today. It really isn't that expensive. If you just play the game you will have 30k in no time. Took me 2 characters all the way from Pre to Ascension to get that together :-) So, you can explore the game with another character and before you know it you will have the money. Make a Mo/W then start a Necro. By the time you finish the necro you have enough money to make a 55hp Monk and necro.
