Ok, so im in droks, trying to buy a 15>50 req 8 storm bow, a person with a pointless name, and guild emblem that makes no sense, come and says i have. I say ok, show me, i pay well, he shows me a req 8 unid storm bow...
I tell him its unid, he tells me in bad english, that is is 15>50 and he knows. He asks for 100k+50 ecto...
HE is clearly trying to scam me correct? i know that, but how many people do u think he has done this to? HE wouldnt keep doing it if it didnt work. Is it our fault we are getting scammed? Or are scammers getting smarter in their ways?

I told him to id it, and then i would buy it and give him an extra 300k if it was wat i wanted, he said no, he didnt have an id kit, i offered one, he said he had no room, pretty fishy, hopefully he doesnt get ne one with this.

Seller probably tested it and found it wasn't 15^50, that is why he didn't id.

You can test the bow to find out req. and modifiers without ID'ing it, but the 15%^50, or an enchanting/marksmanship mod, would be pretty tricky to figure out. But what do I know. Maybe there is a downloadable mod that allows you to check the weapon without ID'ing it. Possible?

Sorry to admit it, but i ran quite a few scams during my time playing diablo 2. All I can really say is be very very careful. And only trade with people directly. I used to run a scam where I would pretend that I needed an item a person had (usually a friend), and when someone would ask me to trade for an item, i'd say that i needed the item the other guy had. Like this example:
Player 1: This item for your item?
Me:No thanks I need the item player 2 has.
Player 1: Average price for a junk item?
Player 2:No thanks I'm selling it for 500x what it's worth.
Player 1: (Well if i buy this, it's cheaper than trading the item i was going to trade in the first place)
Me: No thanks player 1, i don't need the item anymore.
Thus we would make ALOT of money. Also remember to view the item before accepting the trade, so you don't get an item that just looks like the one you wanted.
Player 1: This item for your item?

and of mi avatar, im not "rich". i did at one point had 250 ecto, then at one point i had 1000p, took ss of both, then used mi 1337 skills to photoshop them together, and duplicate the ecto stack
