I can't login!

I load up the game, and then the little patch screen opens, and updates, then it restarts, and the game opens. I put in my e-mail and password, and then try to log in. It takes a few seconds, then a window saying "Connecting" pops up. I wait for about 10 minutes, and it doesn't change, then the window has an error message saying something about the router. It isn't my firewall or router, as GW has worked before, and I have had other friends who have had this problem. Help?

Also: There is no text box to the right of the log in interface, I dunno if there is supposed to be.

Edit: Also, how long is the steaming patch (lightning in top right)? It has dled around 300mb and counting now. Would the fact it is downloading that have anything to do with the glitch?

Does no one know how to fix this? It is happening to other people, I know!

Lack of replies may be because lots of people are playing in the FPE.

The major update is about 480Mb, but that should not produce the glitch as people have had it downloading in the backgroud and still been able to log in.

Did you get an error code along with the error message? If so you may be able to find out more by checking the GW support page.

Other than that I don't know, as I have had no problems logging in this weekend. Although people did have problems logging in when the patches started coming through around the 9th, but they were fixed.

Edit: you may want to ask in Technician's corner, as there will be people there who know more about routers.
