incredibly let down by c2 so far

well the problem anet was trying to avoid is some really good guilds simply dominating one side or another by forming teams of all really good players and creaming most other teams, same with the alliance battles, while 4 really good players can really help your team, iit alone wont win the fight, same idea with pve missions, except its all random. They could of course make it so you could choose full teams of 8, but then top guilds or ppl with lots of good friends would own and ppl without a guild or without many friends would never stand a chance. I guess you could go the alliance battle way and be able to make a team of 4, but besides that, i dont really see any immediate way of solving this.

This is the equivalent of trying to play Bloodstone Fen, Elona Reach, or Thunderhead Keep, with random people. Honestly, I have no idea why people don't see this as a problem. If you only had an "Enter Mission" button in Hell's Precipice and you got paired with 7 other completely random people, wouldn't you think that it wasn't fair? |

s anyone else incredibly let down by what theyve seen from chapter 2 so far? i know i am. the new classes are fun, and i like the new environments.... but the 'pvp missions' are absolutely atrocious. as if playing random arena in prophecies wasnt bad enough, NOW we have 8-12 people running around aimlessly with no form of organization or build. i can see where the pvp missions would be fun if you could for a group for it with some guildies, and actually run a build, but not as it stands right now. and all i have to say about alliance battles is "WoW Battlegrounds". please refrain yourself from flaming me and saying things along the lines of "you just suck at gw." ive heard it all already, and it doesnt float. |
If you want to retain any credibility in this discussion, I suggest you at least WIN the mission first so you can see it does not act as a story mode PvE mission. There is no warp to another town or outpost. There is no required gain to beat the mission (ex; THK warping you to fire island); only an improvment in Faction for your group and lines moving on the map.
