Will Factions cost another $50, if you already own GW. At this time, after trying it, I don't think I would buy it...

it is a small peek at the game.

a lot of people said the same thing for the early beta events.

guess what? they got it and loved it.

considering, the small peek of the game REALLY STINKS, i wouldn't even consider paying full price for it.

and chapter 3 will be out around november and maybe that will be just what you want.

keep chapter 1 skip chapter 2 and love (and get) chapter 3 as you choose

Anyway, yep, it'll cost another 50. But look at it this way- Cantha's going to draw some traffic off of the Prophecies maps. Just stick with Chapter 1 and enjoy the lower number of people!

That's your opinion, I think Factions is great. No ones if forcing you to buy it.

I dont know why anyone would think its free anyway. Its a whole new games, that took a good while to develope. Of course it will cost money. They dont charge monthly fee's, and they do have expansions to make, and employees to pay.

So unless they discover a way to pull out money and expansions out of a hat, I think paying for Factions would be best ;-)

I just wish I could, like, pay a reduced price to get access to the new classes/skills for PVP and skip the rest. $50 for just skills is pretty steep.
