RP Prophecy in a Cantha PvP Area?

Early today, when I was trying out the Luxons (Rushing through not reading quest descriptions). I found some NPC who was saying stuff about its time to fight blah blah blah. I was zoned to some sort of Enter Mission area, where I saw characters with 15k armor which ment they were from Prophecies and were RP, there were also warriors sporting Sentinel armor and that sort, I'm positive it wasn't RA or anything like that.. Anyone else know what I'm talking about?

ya, was seeing lots of Prophecies 15k armor RP characters. I was told by gaile herself that people CANNOT do that, but it seems she is wrong? Maybe people just found some sort of loophole?

You can bring characters from tyria to fight in the alliance battles. You have to go through your guild hall and talk with the new NPCs that are in the hall and tell them you want to fight for whichever side. You can do this with any character that can get into your guild hall, thus both pvp characters and rpg characters can get there. They are only allowed to fight in the alliance battles though, nothing else on cantha.
