Deity Statues

Has anyone figured out what the different options available on the statues actually do? Ive run into the Grenth and Balthasar ones so far. For the Grenth ones I had the option to give gold for Necromancer and Ritualist, but these were not there for Balthasars (makes sence to me). And you could also get various bonuses for their attributes, like some kind of ice thing for Grenth and a fire version for Balthasar. I paid gold but didnt notice a difference. Any ideas?

My A/R had access to 4 options from Balthazar's, but nothing from Grenth. Not enough time yet to accumulate money to test with.

I wonder what the "favor of the gods" option gives you?
