Im sure you can actually cap the black moa if you dont have the quest or if youve completed it as ive done that quest and killed him and when i go back to the spot where you find him hes always there again.

From what I've herd about the panda, it was removed by request of the chinese government. They did not like the idea of the panda getting hurt. Anet was told to remove it or the coild not sell the gane in china.

I just wanted to add that I sold my black widow spider in order to tame the phoenix at the end of factions and I regret it. The phoenix has a much slower attack speed than the spider. I want my super fast spider back!

they run for a little bit, stop and regroup, then run again - they will not stop running to attack you when you try to charm them - so bring a run skill so you can use all the time that they are stopped to charm, even then you might have to try 2-3 times to get one before they get out of range.
