you can change things for your own adventure due to instancing without having everything reset for the next person in line for one thing

no campers
no pkers
no player ambushes
etc

To me, GuildWars is different in so many ways. First of all, GuildWars (GW) has a focus of PvP rather than getting loot and leveling. The PvP environment eliminates Pking. Rather than dungeons, the game has Missions which test the skills of the player and tells a part of a story. The game has a balance between all the professions. There isn't a profession that stands out from the rest. The game also uses skills for each profession and each character can only have a max of 8 skills. The game is also more based in action rather than a sinkhole of time wasting. That is just some of what I see is different than the traditional MMOGs.

actually not on the pvp part

instancing keeping the pvp element out of missions and explorable areas is what prevents pkers

there have been enough pvp players asking if they can go out where people are in group areas and kill anybody they want to prove that

as for tilt of game i see a prepondeance of territory and content on the PVE side with the pvp tossed in very nicely for those who want it

odd saying considering everybody is trying to kill everything in sight but

LIVE AND LET LIVE

there is room for all of us

I hate PKing so much. It's the main reason I hated Lineage 2 so much.
