I Dont know why people buying expensive weapons now....
Your gold and ectos will have so much value again when faction comes out...
Tons of new weapons and of course new char needs new armor (fow or whatever the new stuff) The ectos will be there for better looking armor again because ncsoft knows about current economic system with ectos....
These new conditions will drop current weapon price (I meant rocket drop) after a month later when faction is here.
Anyway, i just want to hear what other people think........

Will you still be farming ghostly when faction come out ? or will you be like most of the people out there going after faction "new skin" weapons ..so would that make ghostly with godly mode even rare ?

The thing is... if everyone is saving there gold for factions, and if they know that... the price will rise like crazy. Lets say thre is a new fow armor, people will be going after Shards and Ectos like madmen, and the prices willl rise probably more then fall for Faction items. The shard version in Faction will probably be mroe like 7+ then 4k as it is now...

I've found that a lot of people are selling really cheap for some items. Like +5 Energy Staff Heads were going for 5k at Lion's Arch yesterday and I picked up about 5 or so as well as a few +30 health wrappings for 10k. Seems like a lot of people are dumping their inventories in anticipation of Factions or maybe I haven't been paying attention to staff upgrades, bah, I don't know.

also every perfect item will cost hundreds of hundreds of k. just got to look at the shadowsword selling for 600k after it was found now alot cheaper. i enjoy trading and making safe purchases. faction will certainly not have any safe purchases for quite some time

Ya, every single new "rare" in Factions will be outragiously high, but in a month or two, everything will be leveled out as it is now and after SF started and after new Tombs was introduced. The "new" weapons will be highly priced, but will level out after a while, I personally have no problem with waiting a little while until getting the new items.
