You are asking for a lot of biased opinions, or this is some form of poll Ragana.

I'd say take a browse at who has been Guild of the Week at guildwars.com for respectable guilds. Also ladder history determines something, history overal (good name in previous online games?), what it gives back to the community (iQ comes to mind with their website for instance).

But in general, as you ask, is a bit to bland. The best pvp guilds hardly play pve, wich is also a part of the game. It's hard to find the best PvE guilds, altough some come to mind with me:
'Lady Blue Steel's Runner Academy' are considered in general quality runners.
'The Boat Crew' are the great club that logs the chats of Gaile and the Frog.

There used to be also a thread of famous GW players, that might be worth a look for this answer.

No, I agree that "the best overall Guild" is pretty subjective, What you should look for is "The best Guild for you"

What do you like to do? What do you want out of your guild?
How many oreos do you want your guild to feed you each day?
That sort of thing.

Like I posted in my guild forums ... IMO the success of a guild is not defined by its size, rank or how much faction it rakes in every week but how well it meets a set of goals that most if not all members agree upon.

So whichever does that best would be the best guild, in my opinion of course.

GvG: America = TE I say at the time
World = EvIL (no brainer)

HoH = Who knows

PvE= Who knows

Having random fun = RAT

Te= Europe + American

GvG American--Treacherous Empire
GvG Worldwide--Esoteric Warriors
HA--Gangstas In The Hood (recently)

Erm, if u weren't being sarcy (bit of friendly advice), then it'd probably help to stay somewhere where you don't say "we're the best guild, although we have no members". No offence like though mate

Ok, the answer to all this is... THERE IS NO BEST OVERALL GUILD.


A guild specializes in 1 thing:

GvG
PvE
Ha
etc.

If they manage to specialize in 2 then fair enough, alot do.

But not a single guild can claim to specialize in ALL of them, the best overall guild doesn;t exist, lol, impossible to answer :P

I mean, look at [EvIL] The Last Pride, They have less than 20 members, how can they be the best guild when others have 100+??

Look at [XoO] Xen Of Onslaught, they won;t have a brilliant rank (there's 9 guilds), but yet, they won't have a good rank, i've never seen them on any leaderboards or anything.

Your Maths Teach [MATH] is probably one of the best at HA, yet won't have a brilliant rank o too many members etc.

so, as you can see we, [MC], are the best guild at sucking really bad. since you didnt want to specify a main attribute or say anything but, overall. We suck the best overall. Heh...

lol, if you want to be in WHOA, chances are you won't be doing too much PvE at all. About all that is done is FF and AB, the alliance worked very hard to get where it is.

There is no simple answer to this, everyone's view of what the best guild will vary. A big part of that is, once someone has found a guild that is a very good fit for them, it is the best guild in the game for them.
Personally, I wouldn't want to be anywhere else than where I am now (The Boat Crew [boat]), and I'm very proud of the things our members do for the community.
