Upgrade Question

What happens if I add a frost hilt to a Fiery Dragon sword that already does fire dam, will it do both fire and cold dam or will one cancel the other?

Ive never salvalged a FDS before to see if it gave a fiery hilt...if it doesnt use a fiery hilt im not sure... if it does u would lose the fire damage and the name would be rechanged to icy dragon sword though i imagine it would still be on fire graphics wise eheh...all i can suggest to ya is to give it a shot on some cheap low damage FDS and see what happens...if the sword uses fire hilt it will ask if you want to replace its previous upgrade when u try and add ice hilt to it So i guess in the end my answer is kinda pointless because now you still dont know the answer lol
