he uses a 2h hammer, and you can tell from the little crosshair in the bottom right corner of the hammer in the third item slot =p

Also notice his Wingblade sword, he probly just took up its slot with the axe for the screenie

I use the butterfly sword mostly. Hammer is to knock down those pesky stone elementals.

It's a one handed weapon that isn't a full blade, so it's categorized as an axe, and yes a pick is a pick axe. Jeez. As long as it isn't a slashing damage weapon.
