I have read the description of the Collectors edition of the game and it says that it has two extra character slots... the non-CE version does not say that it adds two slots...

Tell me now what I must to Anet mods.

Both versions give 2 slots if you link to a CH1 account, 4 slots if you make it a new account that has no link to CH1
