Stacking Skills?

My question is this:

Can you really stack skills? now, i have only really played as a ranger/necro. When i was reading up on skills, i thought you could cast somthing like Read the Winds or Favorable Winds and when those are activated, you would do ever more damage when you use Hunters Shot or Power shot. But when testing that, i find that the damage doesnt really change for Hunter's or Power shot even when Read the Winds or favorable winds is activated? Is Stacking not possible?

The scenario you described has always worked, if it doesn't seem to be now then either you have other variables you aren't accounting for or there's a bug.

read the wind does definitely stack on top of power/hunter's shot damage. you may not be noticing it very well if your damage is highly variable, ie the damage bonuses are small and seem to fall within normal damage variation.

thanks, now that i think of it, i do have a rather large range of damage. WHOOPSIES

It is the same for all proffession.
Pick skills that compliment each other to boost attack speed and damage.
