Shield, Focus or Two Handed?

Which setup is the most effective?

Using a shield with a single handed weapon?
Using a focus item (+x energy) with a single handed weapon?
Or just using a two handed weapon?

Any suggestions?

The first answer is it all depends, if you asking for your character you should use either:

Wand & focus combo or a good staff.

An El/Mo should not be picking up a weapon or a shield, you won't get much good out of them in any case and will lose a significant amount of energy.


**Disclaimer there is a valid reason to use one handed weapons with this character type in PvP, but thats an advanced topic
