Adding another Cd-Key

My friend and I have been sharing an account. He got a CD-Key and we were wondering if he added his Cd-Key to my account, will both of us be able to log in at once if he adds the CD-Key?

You cannot log into the same account at the same time. Once you attempt to the initial login will be terminated. Your friend will need to use the key to create his own account and start from scratch.

Before you ask, no there are no character transfers from one account to another. This is against the rules as is account sharing.

If he adds the key to your account it will beong to your account forever. He must start a completely seperate account using a different email address. Once the account is registered, it can be accessed from any computer with Guild Wars on it, by typing the email of the account you are trying to access on the opening screen, and then using the proper password.

So can you add a key to your account and have 8 characters? Also, will the characters from each key be able to join different guilds?

No. There are only 4 characters per account. Adding a key will cancel another key, like what everyone else has said.

The only way to make a different account, is to use a DIFFERENT email and password and set up a new account. The characters from the DIFFERENT accounts will be able to join a different guild, but NOT if the key is attached to the original account.
