why wont it work?

this is a pic of my settings i have right now for my hammer and my armor. how come i can not upgrade them any more?. i see people with all this super armor and wepons but when i do it i loose something. am i doing something wrong or is this the best hammer i can get and best armor i can get unless i buy new armor?

*Edited* I see the one piece with minor Vigor, But if you have Warrior Runes on each piece of armor, and an upgrade on the Hammer, then that's all you can do. You might substitute minors for Superiors (Runes)... but this requires you to destroy each piece with the Advanced Tool to get those Runes back if you wanted them.

i see no bar but here is that pick. lol cant remember what i got on it..lol

so id have to destroy the armor then buy it again and put superior on it? how do you tell which is minor and whats not? (blue minor?)

so whats the best step? is this probly best i czan get?

No you could just put superior on it which would replace the minor but you would lose the minor rune
And you can tell between minor and superior coz it will say minor rune of ...
or superior rune of ...

hey you have higher armor than i do, my armor averages about lvl 35, and i'm in the desert right now, hehee should uprgrade the armor, maybe i would not die as much

There was a post yesterday going through the possible weapon upgrades.

Hammers have a prefix upgrade, suffix upgrade, 1 possible alternate modifier (which you cannot change, it either has one or not), and the customization upgrade. Now, your hammer does not appear to have any alternate modifier, so the best it can do is a prefix, suffix, and customization. You already have all of these.

So your hammer is as good as it's going to get unless you find a prefix or suffix you like better.

you still have room for a "grip" Component,

I have a Hammer Grip of Hammer Mastery (8% chance of +1 hammer skill when using skills) if that interests you =P

Your hammer does NOT have a sufix.
Your hammer has damage +11% as standard.
Your hammer has damage +20% from customisation.
Your hammer is doing Fire damage (Not so good) from the Prefix (Firey)

You could find a better Prefix rune.
You can ADD a Sufix rune.

People sell Hammer upgrades all the time. Take a look in the auction forum http://www.guildwarsguru.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=6 or just watch the Trade chat in game.

I have a +28 Health haft on my hammer which I *love*. something like that would really help upgrade your max damage hammer.

SO since i use some monk skills i have kinda of tweaked the hammer.. is this better? wondering whats the best i can get as far as upgradeing the thing. and where to get it..

how do u tell what the prefix and suffiw is?

Pre means before, and suffix is after.
