Skills that say "target ally" can target your character.

Skill that say "target other ally" cannot.

Players may be creatures, but their characters in game aren't creatures. Characters are digital objects, automatons at best. That hardly counts as a creatures.

(Yes, player characters count as creatures)

Party = PCs + henchmen.

Allies = Anything that shows green on the minimap.

If you want to get a good feel for distances in game, grab and elementalist and cast a ward. Their range = 40'.

For Frozen Soil and most other skills, yes, as has been pointed out. Although they dont' seem to for Symbiosis which seems to only affect pets but also mentions it affects "creatures".

The lesson here is that the skill descriptions are oftentimes misleading - they haven't sent a templating team in yet to clean everything up. Skills just work in some way that may or may not be explained by the descriptions. Believe what's written at your own peril.

Dark Fury: For 5 seconds, the next time any nearby party member attacks, that party member gains one hit of Adrenaline.
This skill was changed before the last BWE, and I'm not sure why. I'd also like to know if this ends after the first person attacks, or if multiple people can get adrenaline, and can anyone gain more than one hit of bonus adrenaline?
