A couple of things...

Okay, I'm almost ready to go Post-Sear, and I'm just rounding things off in Pre (collectors, skills, last quests etc.) but there are two things that I'm not sure about:

1.) My secondary is mesmer, and I was wondering how many skill trainers there are for secondary mesmers (I've found two, Althea and Vassar I think it was, in Foible's Fair). Are there any others before Post-Sear?

2.) You know the area opposite Ascalon City (The Academy?), well, do you explore that after talking to Sir Tydus or before? (I see maps with that area explored and I was wondering how...).

1. There are only the 2 Mesmer trainers in Pre-Sear.

Going through the Academy involves a brief bout of PvP against other players going through the Academy. Then you will do a brief mission to clean some charr out of an underground area. And then the cutscene featuring the Searing of Ascalon. The end of the cutscene leaves you just outside the gates of Ascalon 2 years later.

So the screenshots I'm seeing were taken in that mission? Because for a while it looked (to me) like you could access that area from the area around Fort Ranik. If this area is "un-blurred" in that mission, then I only have two things left to do (putting all the warthogs back into that guy's pen, and exploring the Northlands). Yeah I'm a perfectionist.

They changed the Northlands from the last time I played.......he was right inside the door, he has moved out by some nice Char now...one of my guild mates had "made" a minion,and he went and attacked them...NOT GOOD. Insta-death....
