Before changing my secondary profession, I wanted to know:
1) Whether I will "loose" all my secondary profession's skills: let's imagine that I later want to get back to my current secondary profession, will I have to "relearn" all the skills or will they still be there for me?
2) How do I acquire skills from my new secondary profession: will all the quest that give skills be reset or do I have to "buy" all my skills at the trainers'?
Thanks for your answers,
nostra
What happens when you change your secondary profession?

although I have not done it, this is what I would think would happen. You will not "loose" (you have unlocked them forever) these skills, but you cant use them on the character again b/c you changed professsions. Now, Im thinking you wont have any skills for your new profession. BUT you have ascended and you have access to many skill trains from which you can buy spells from. Since it is your 2nd class, I doubt you will buy all of them. You prolly have in mind 5-10 spells you think you will use. The quests that give spells, I doubt you will be able to do again. You have compeleted them, and fullfilled its mission. Sorry. Once again, I have not done this, but this seems logical.

All attribute points invested in skills from the old secondary class are removed and re-enter your attribute point pool, at no cost in refund points.
The skills available for each secondary class are kept track of separately on a per-character basis. Suppose you are a Mo/W with skills A, B, and C for warrior and skills D and E for mesmer. When you switch to Mo/Me, you can use skills D and E, and when you switch back to Mo/W, you will still have skills A, B, and C available.
Profession-specific quests that were unavailable during your first play-through will now become available, and these generally give you skills from your new secondary profession, but quests that you have already completed will not become re-enabled, and to acquire those skills would require either capturing them from a boss or buying them from a skill trainer.
