guilds advertising to join is one thing, selling goods is one thing, BUT last night this is what the message screen to the left looked like for 10 minutes!!! then i left.

Report them. These nerds who ebay are using the game to make real profit. When they are banned, they just buy the game again as they're usually making more money by selling virtual stuff than they lose by buying new accounts over and over again. This is good for anet since they'll make money, too!

It'll all come crashing down eventually along with the Ebay problem hopefully.

Sure, they have disclaimers, but they're still infringing upon the terms of use for Guild Wars. NO reselling accounts, which people are doing.

Obviously alot of people don't read these things, even though you are supposed to...

Reselling of accounts on e-bay has happened with every game since e-bay started. Every company has tried to fight it and either gave up due to time or money. It violates all terms of service. You can also find cheats, cracks, currency, guides, hacks, exploits and so on for sell on every major game out there. Once again violating all terms of service but if some one really wants this junk, it's around. In game spamming is a easy thing to stop and so is every thing that happens "inside" the game.

Don't take this post the wrong way. I dislike all of the above and it mainly leads to grouping morons in the arenas. It is there though and will always be for the idiots that have to use those services.

Simplist thing to do is, screenshot them and report them. A.Net has stated that ingame advertizing of this nature is bannable.

Why would anyone do that? Techinically you can be powerleveled/zoned to ascension and ascend at like level 5 in a couple hours.
