1. How many Runes can you equip at once?

2. If I equip say the Major fire rune to my elemental gloves and upgrade my gloves to the 15k armor, do i lose the rune? how would I unequip the rune b4 I upgrade to my armor?

1 Rune per piece of armor.

If you upgrade armor, you have to expert salvage your old armor to get the rune back. Note: this has a failure rate, and you will often end up with nothing but iron ingots.

If you intend to upgrade the rune on a piece of armor, just apply the new rune on top of it. You will lose the old rune. Alternatively, try to salvage the old rune, and buy a new piece of armor to apply the new rune to.

Actually I was wondering: If I apply a energy +1 rune to my leggings, and then another energy +1 to my gloves(for example), do I get a +2 overall?

I don't know about energy +x runes. Those might stack.

I know that vigor runes do not stack, nor absorption, or any effects from the Warrior runes.

First, there are no +1 energy runes. There are Runes of Energy Storage, but they are only good for primary Elementalists, Energy Storage is their class attribute. Second, no runes stack, if one is higher than the other, it over rides the lower one if both are equal only one gets applied.
