One of the few things that frusturates me with Guild Wars at the moment is the equipment variety. I've played D2 and WoW and everyone who has played those games knows that one of the best things that those games have, is equipment variety. There is literally 10x the number of equipment options in WoW than in GW. Now, I'm not suggesting that GW should switch to the WoW and D2 system of items. I think new items should be added that work with the current crafting dynamic.
For example, as a Monk, here is what I can choose from in the way of armor at lvl20 (source:http://www.guildwarsguru.com/ventari...v-20-id140.php):
Hands/Legs/Feet/Chest
60AL (3 different sets with the same stats, for some reason)
65AL, -15AL vs Fire
55AL, -10AL vs Cold, +1 Energy
55AL, +15AL vs Physical
Head
60AL
50AL, +1 Attribute
55AL, -10AL vs Cold, +1 Energy
That yields effectively only 768 different combinations of equipment. WoW and D2 have trillions of combinations.
What I suggest is that more sets should be added. Here are a few possibilities (these aren't necessarily what should be added in, these are just examples):
50AL, -2 Energy, +1 Energy Regen
50AL, 10% chance to nullify any Hex cast on player
75AL, -3 Energy
55AL, 1% chance to cast a free, instant Orison of Healing on self after being damaged
Even just a few additions would drastically increase the amount of customizability and personalization in the game.
More equipment variety

Hopefully more will get added as expansions are released.
