Immature noobs in gw.

Well as i said before and as i say now IM SICK OF IT. Im freaking sick of these noobs that re like no lets not do bonus ive already done it but you all havent haha! Or they pick up items and go afk so you cant complete the quest, they cuss you out for no reason so they think it makes them look cool. Gah im so pissed! I think you can use piss here ive seen it in lots of post... hmph o well. But you know whwre it says "Children under the age of 13 are not permitted to play" well it should say " People who act like people under the age of 13 are not permitted to play". Can anet just ban these noobs before they ruin guild wars.

You should really become an experienced monk then
If they make you mad just stop healing them, and then watch them fail miserably while they die time after time while their teamates are staying alive

Recently i had a hillarious encounter with a noob in the ring of fire mission, The guy actually ran far away from the group and attacked a large group of the jade creatures by his lonsome.. After he died, rather quickly i might add, He screamed "Res me!" "Res me!".. We really just laughed at him, Someone mentioned "How typical" lol.. And i said "Look! a stereotypical GW idiot!". It was actually quite funny, you cant let people get to you like this How this noob got to the ring of fire is beyond me.

As long as there are people, there will be stupid people. Being anonymous will support the latter. It's something you'll have to live with.

I understand your anger (or maybe not?) but I don't think the forum is a really good place to vent...

you get people like this in EVERY online game. Its something that you just have to deal with. it sucks but hey, its either deal with it or don't play the game.

Bwahaha, Synthos makes a great point! I have, in this game and many before it, "accidentally" let someone die after they were a total jerk. It almost makes up for the fact that all you do is watch health bars.

I see more and more of these posts with you or others merely ranting and raving about 'noobs' yet they are not all new people. I suppose the term noob is now being used to describe a rather vulgar, or rude person.

Complaining about people will not help anything will it? Arena Net will certainly not ban people for silly things, but harrassment I believe they will.

Playful, if you have harrassment problems with a few select people constantly, ignore them with the command. It isn't necessary to raise a fuss and alert over and over again on these forums, is it?

I really hate the term "noob" -- it has a derogatory connotation and it just makes people sound like elitist asshats. To make it even more obnoxious, it seems to me like the 'd00dz' that use the term the most are the ones with the most serious case of "noobishness". . . or at least a severe lack of common courtesy and/or some base level of intelligence.

I personally am a firm believer in Gabe's Greater Internet ****wad Theory. There are some pretty advanced mathematical constructs in there, but I think if you can wrap your head around some of the quantum differential equations you will agree with the result.

If you don't spend time obsessing over the "n00bs", you'll find that there are many friendly and competent folks playing Guild Wars. While "n00bs" are inherently conspicuous, I do not think they represent the majority.

I'm at Kyrta and I have yet to encounter such a situation where 'immature "noobs"' bothered me. In fact, I think Guild Wars has the most mature community in any game thus far, I mostly see well structured sentances and punctuation. However, there was that one guy shouting "sh1t" over and over and over times infinity in local, but peace was just a district change away.

The theory is pretty sound, but I would alter one part of the equation. I would change the first part of the equation from "normal person" to "average person". Now of course that might lead to a semantical discussion of what constitutes "normal", but I would argue that engaging in profane, rude, hateful diatribes, for no other reason than pure sport, is not a trait of one who qualifies as normal. Others may disagree.
