Question about strenght

Does it affect anything except those skills the use strenght?

i think for each point you get a percentage of armor penetration

You get appx 2% armor penetration per point, so with 10 points appx 20 penetration. Not too shabby!

its 1% per point

The passive armor penetration you gain is only when you use skills.

Copied and pasted from an official site: Strength: (Primary Only) The Strength attribute affects the quality of linked skills. Any Warrior "attack" skills you use are also given a 2% (per rank in Strength) armor penetration bonus.

You just have to mouse over the strengh in hero window, it will tell you all you its 1%.

I didnt want to post this link, cause ya know, competition, but here it is, clearly stating 2%. Not that I dont believe you, I feel the need to defend my statement though.

Guild Hall has a lot of old information, so that might be why your source is wrong. Always go with the official game site when quoting things like that!

Don't trust Guild Hall... trust Guild Wars Guru! Innocent plug for respect of the forums. As I stated in another thread, Strength is where the Warrior gets his power from. Without it, you wont deal as much damage as you could.

On the GW main site it used to list Guild Hall as (Official Fansite) now it's (Elite Fansite) meaning they have all the authorization and whatnots and are supposed to represent correct information. *shakes fist angrily at GH* Yeah, I should have included the word Fan between Offical and Site.
