Do I get less drops with henchmen ect.?

Well, just wondering. If I'm out by myself I get 100% of the drops. Is this the same with say, 6 henchmen or do they take them? (Without them coming up obviously)

I'm level 20 and always wanted to know this

Much like the gold wether with henchies or not it says party shares XX gold, same for items im afraid.

But at worst times i take just alesia, and be careful what i attack.

yes drops become more worse as henchmen are more in your party, you may have had a superior vigor rune and never knew about it xD (sneaky henches >.>)

the reason you dont see the landscape littered with purple and yellow items for the henchies is the people making the game didnt want you pulling out your hair seeing one of them get the OMG its a best rare while you got a carving

To sum up for clarity: Henchmen take a share of cash and item drops just as if they were actual players, but their pickup of items is automatic so you won't see "wimpyweapon dropped and is reserved for Alesia".

or much worse, Rare 15-22 damage Dragon Sword goes to, Lina!

Not to mention that drops are only held for a particular character for a certain amount of time. After that time passes the drop becomes available to all. If the hench-bots didn't auto-get drops then you could simply wait and take their stuff when the timer expired.

is that why i found a purple axe i never saw before walking back to that spot ^^

In all seriousness, I never knew henchies got items, too. Methinks I'll need to start soloing more... /cry
