I just created a E/Mo yesterday and I'm wondering about that...

I would assume so... lots of AoE damage spells and good self-healing? Should be pretty good.

My E/Mo or E/Nec both farm quite well. I bit boring, but I can easily farm a plat in 10 minutes outside of ToA.

Any Fire based elementalist is going to do well....monk as a secondary means you can leave the healer henchman behind which gets you even more drops. Rarely does a group of monsters move out of Area of Effect spells and the fire line has tons of em.

Okay I gotta ask this.

What in the world is farming? Ingame I mean, I'm sorta familiar with the concept IRL

"Farming" is when you go kill monsters for the drops they give to make money. There are certain areas in the game that can be lucrative if you go there by yourself or with only one other player/henchman. I know of a couple really nice ones myself, but would prefer they don't get nerfed, so I won't say where they are .

W/Mo's are played out...

I think any build with decent AoE damage skills should be good, even a ranger build with any secondard to add AoE damage, or even a melee char with some AoE should be good.

You can farm quite well as a E/Mo. And surprisingly it's the Monk spells that do the real damage for farming. You want to increase your Smiting Prayers to 10 attributes. Then I use the following spells in order:

Aura of Restoration (E)
Zealots Fire (M)
Shield of Judgement (M)
Symbol of Wrath (M)
Balthazars Aura (M)
Reversal of Fortune (M) <<<- not really necessary

Funny, how the best farming spells are from the monk huh?

Just looked at this vid, that's a E/Mo I believe, and he's using basically the same spells I just listed minus the Aura of Restoration.

Some of the monk skills were:

Zealot's Fire

Not sure what the others were

Orison of Healing (M)
Healing Touch (M)

He then starts to repeat using healing spells, and Balthazars Aura.

He's also fighting Charr that are level 6-8, and he's level 20 getting 0xp per kill. This would only be good for drops, but I doubt you get very many good drops from creatures at this level.

I think this video wasn’t so much farming as something allot of us have thought about doing, that is to go back and simply stop the Charr from invading in the first place, to bad it doesn’t actually help.

*Curse the unbreakable story line.*
