Gates of Kryta Bonus bugged?

Ok I know what to do for the bonus. You take Oink back to the kid, talk to the dad, go get the book from shipwreck and bring it back to the dad.... BUT THE STUPID KID WON'T RECOGNIZE THAT WE HAVE OINK WITH US >_<

Yes, it's bugged. From my own experimentation, it seemed to work properly only when the group LEADER hasn't done the bonus yet.

Oink is bad ass, though. We couldn't get the bonus either, but he can't seem to take damage and he hits descently for being 8 inches tall.

I think anyone in the group must have not completed the bonus mission before. I was leader in a group with a guild mate that had done the bonus and the quest would not complete. we figured it was bugged and would do it again... Luckily for me he left first, because as soon as he left the group, i got the bonus.

I repeated this in a group helping 2 other guild mates and even though i was not the leader there either, i had to leave before they got the bonus mission.

If you can, just do it again with henchies, or msg me later tonight approx 10pm pst and ill help ya finish the bonus mission. (ill have to leave before it completes tho)

I've never had a problem with it and this is the first time I hear of it being bugged. I've helped fellow guildmates complete this bonus without me having to leave and they still recieve it. Maybe it happens every once in a while?

i must be unlucky, but so far, when i did it and any time im helping someone do it, i get the bug. I have a few new toons about to do that mission, so ill post back if i get borked again...

I just finished the bonus mission with 2 other players that had already done the mission and 2 henchmen (I was the leader) and had no problem finishing the bonus misison.

Just my 2 cents worth.

Our first time through, our party was completely wiped out, but Oink was still alive and beating them down while we were lying in the pool of poison =)
