Monsters higher than level 20

Why do monsters and enemys get to go higher levels than us?I understand if a boss was higher but im seeing level 22 sand worms and other higher level enemys. This just gets more and more harder because as you progress they are higher levels and you are still at level 20.
Please reduce the amount of enemys in one area, I'm having trouble killing off 8 level 20-30 enemys with my 5 other party members. At least change the enemys to level 20.

For a challenging game that require at least _some_ skill ?

That, and if you do manage a DP then with higher levels you can kill your DP quicker than like 5xp per person.

For better exp gains. Granted, you dont get levels anymore once you hit 20, but you still get skill points. Imagine how slow it would be if you only got 5 exp a pop (just throwing a number out, not sure what exp gain is vs. same level mobs) as opposed to 25-50 exp.

Bases on taking a Lvl 20 monster solo you get a 25 I believe. Divide that by 8 people, henchies included those theivesstealing my money and XP that comes down to about 3xp per person I just said a random 5 but 3 per sounds about right if I'm not mistaken.

you sure? I thought you get 100 exp if they're the same level or higher, so that equals to 20 exp each among 5 people?

I said "I believe its 25" not "I know its 25" I've not taken a monster same level as me on solo since I first start and got Nolni(sp) misson heh.

Another reason is so the monsters would be tougher and have more hp than other lvl 20 monsters.

Can't expect to get to "end-game" content on lvl 20 Charr do you?
I've been fighting lvl 22-24 monsters for awhile now and i've had a harder time on some of the earlier missions with lower lvl mobs
Also about the DP, that is also great, I just got to droknar's forge and went exploring and if these mobs weren't higher than me then i'd be in a world of trouble not being able to loose the penalty. In all out honesty i've killed a lvl 31 boss last night which was 10x easier than killing a lvl 24 boss for a ranger skill (i didnt think of destracting shot the first 5 tries )

I have to disagree... on a difficulty scale of 1 to 10 PVE in gw ranks around 6 with just henchies... with even 1 other real player in group its way to easy for lvl 20 content..
We need MORE 30+ mobs with a bunch of 29+ adds coming in waves... LOTS of constant flanks, triggered spawns, traps etc... that stuff is fun..
I personally want more areas where I have to have friends with me.. As it stands now, most if not all the content can be done with henchies only. Honestly though I think even if they made it harder it could still be done with henchies.. Hench AI is really good if you know how to use them right.
If anything it needs a bump to difficulty 7 or 8 imo.
I think the most fun I've had is when the group wipes on a mission and the mobs are all still in aggro radius of bodies, yet 1 member who has the rebirth abilities snuck off without the creatures knowing.. HOWEVER 1 or 2 did notice something and have decided to go on patrol to check it out... So they have to be dealt with before you can get back and teleport/rez the group. No room to manuever around.. they are closing on your position.. you must solo 2 creatures 3 levels higher than you if your group has any chance for victory.
Score a mission victory from that point and im sold... that kind of game play really does it for me and I welcome it plus even harder content.
Live or die ... saying "Holy crap that was hard!"at the end of a mission or adventure is never going to insult a game designer.

Pfft, are you telling me you can run the Mursaat missions with hench only? This I have got to see.

LOL, hencies barly last 5 seconds against them. Tho if you have infused and your part monk you could take them if you have mending on and a healing breeze...one by one they will fall
Final Fantazy
Some of the later missions are totally impossible with a henchie party, what they are there for is to supplement your human group, our groups always take the protector henchie, even so she dies pretty often but is still a great help when dealing with tons of Jade Armors and Mursatt. Granted, a very select few missions can be done with pure henchies, I know I've done a few myself.
You think the game is hard?? Wait until you're in the final few missions when you face off, multiple bosses and their mob friends at the same time! This alone seperates the good players, bad and uncoordinated ppl die horribly. You have to have plans of attack, a mob caller (experienced a must) and plenty of tactical skill to win, basically as I see it, right from pre-searing Ascalon you are being trained up for the Arid Sea and the Ascension trials as this is when the games difficulty goes up a notch.

lol, in the later missions Henchie=meatsheild basically. If you've noticed at most times they will 'almost' ALWAYS attack the henchies before the human players. I just usally take the henchmen for meatsheild use thats about it. Upon guild discussion we've come up with "henchies are expendable, I am not now get out there and be a meatsheild" while we(the human players) start running through a group of *monster type* and the henchies stop and fight and heal and all that
