Hi Guys.
My Me/Mo currently uses Domination, Illusion and Healing
It is primary a support char, but as I currently most of the time doing PvE it has also to stand on its own.
I use
Conjure Phantasm - kind of 'spamming', not entirely possible due to the 10E cost, but it's my primary attack skill
Chaos Storm - AoE works great against the stupid KI
Energy Burn - I use it kind like Conjure Phantasm to deal damage, mostly to finish an enemy off
Empathy - everytime I have spare energy and time, I cast empathy on some strong enemy
Resurrect
Orison of Healing
Healing Breeze
to heal my team
One place is left, and i'm not sure what to use.
I tried Shatter Delusions and time it that way, that short before Conjure Phantasm fades out I cast it on the Enemy. It worked, but my Conjure Phantasm lasts 9 seconds, that means, I have to be focused on that enemy for the whole time (I haven't figured out how to effectivly switch between targets when there are so many of them... Most of the time I haven't found the right enemy and didn't knew if it got killed in between, etc. so I have to stay focused on it, and that is kind of a waste of time... I'm sure some of you are able to do it effective, but i'm just not able to )
I tried also Phantom Pain, but it felt not very powerfull. After doing the same monsters with and without Phantom Pain I haven't seen a difference, maybe because the enemy may not be the groups main target in the time it's wounded...
I then tried to use Purge Conditions, but it felt also not very powerfull due to the big recharge time. Normally my team gets spammed with just one type of condition and then most of the team gets it - so removing it from just one ally isn't that great help.
I also used Vigorous Spirit. Which is very effective it the team is strong and has a few warriors in it. Then Vigorous Spirit works great and I hardly have to heal using other skills... But if the team is in trouble, it won't help anything. So, if my team is doing well, I can add some damage output because of the free time I not have to spend on healing them and Vigorous Spirit lasts for 30secs... but that isn't that useful if my team is doing well anyway...
Of course i tried backfire also, but due to the massive energy cost and most enemies I have trouble with are a meele-style I haven't used it often, just sometimes to shut down healers, but they would cast just once during backfire was active, so it wasn't that great help.
all of them kind of worked, but none satisfied me
please bear in mind that i'm at yak's bend, so I have not every single skill
I just can't decide which to use... Do you have any suggestions? Maybe another spell that i overlooked or misunderstood?
Thank you for any suggestions, ideas, corrections, what ever
Me/Mo lvl 14 - one skill missing

Try:
Power leak - If target foe is casting a spell, the spell is interrupted and your target loses 10-22 Energy.
or
Power spike - If target foe is casting a spell, the spell is interrupted and target foe takes 20-86 damage.
I like those in place of Backfire. Faster to cast and cost less energy. They don't do as much damage as Backfire, but the interruption of the foe's casting is worth it.

Ah, that could be a good solution.
They could be very effective against healers...
I think Energy-damage is not so important in PvE, because enemies don't cast that muich and therefore hardly run out of energy (is that correct?) And the damage spell (Power Spike) hast also the advantage of being faster recharged.
Mhm, I need to train that interrupting thing a bit more I think. Thanks, it's a great idea.
