Case in point...
5 henchman and me for a party of 6.
Note that I still have the +10% Boost and my Rez signet.
It was that easy.
For those that don't recognize where I am, that is the last dragon (Facet of Strength) in the Dragon's Lair Mission.
Henchmen are far from useless...

I would put ignite arrow on 5 and conjure flame on 6.

No one said the that Henchies are completly usless. Their just stupid thats all. Henchies are powerful and given the chance can take almost anything down if their level is in respect. The problem with them is that they don't act smart sometimes lol.

This is the suggestion forums.
Unless you're suggesting that we nerf henchmen *laugh* this thread is useless.

I personally rather henchman. Sure they can do stupid things but at least they are predictable in their stupidity, unlike thier human counter parts LOL (ie: henchies wont run off with your energy bar near empty or B4 your group is still healing up (the Prince is an exception LOL).

Lol, you still have your signet, because it resets after every boss character that you kill. How many times have you rezzed alesia?

That is true about the henchies and thats what I like about playing with them. The simple fact that they are loyal and "concerned" about you and only you and where your going. They don't run off in their own special side quest or anything and leave the group behind. Plus when you get to the higher levels and your not in combat, most times anyways, the Cultist henchie(necro) uses the Blood Ritual skill and gives you a nice energy regen status

Lol, although i agree to an extent... Henchman can have bugs such as floating to spot of death, just to die again... and they're useless vs mursaat... I think when people say they dont like them it's just because they suck at the game ^.^
I myself solo almost all the game (except ascending *dunes not included, as that ascending mission is easy peasy*)
A Great thing about henchman is they NEVER argue about which target to attack, they will ALWAYS attack the healer / mesmer / elementalist, and in that order, for me... PVE Henchman Rule! So many people like attacking the warrior enemies first... and i find them to be stupid... lol... I mean, when the artificial intelligence, is BY FAR out weighing your human sided intelligence... there is something wrong : (
And if anybody thinks Two americans can't work together, hear me out... In the tournaments... i went in with just me and a henchman team... ((fun to gimp out priests and set an off balance at the team your facing who will now attack someone else, as i run off quickly without a trace...)) and to my surprise there was another guy with a henchman team, so i first asked to ally, and we fought, he won that fight and i ran off... but then it was just us and a korean team left (after waiting for all other teams to die)... so being two americans that desperitally want americans to have the favor at night time, we allied... and I "*Won*" the tournament that has 8 teams of 8, with a Henchman team... Guess what i got to do with a henchman team!! I got to go into the king of the hill!! talk about fun!... those resurrection orbs are the BOMB... rofl!!... i waited and saw the rising/lowering health of the enemies, and with a great strategic flow... i attacked the team that was winning (Both were korean, so i wanted the worse team to get into the hoh/farther into tournaments-So they could lose )... great story of truth, and it was FUN and completely Unbelievable...

I've noticed that the hencies attack whatever your attacking. I've also always noticed that the enemies go for the henchies first, aka, meatsheild strong meatshields at that. I "love" the henchmen to a certain extent.
