How does my weary Gear compare in this large game we love to call GuildWars?
I'd like your honest opinion
these are the items i have been able to gather as my personal collection over this time I have been playing
let me explain some of these =)
the first one remains unchanged from since I purchased it, i thought it was preatty good at the time and it still is. I still use the weapon frequently
the second one was the last addition to my personal stuff some weeks ago. it was a plain 15-22 falchion with a +14% while health above 50% i worked so hard at finding a seller for.
then since i focus alot on bleeding skills, i added a barbed hilt, which I know some people dont like so much but it already enhanced greatly the skills I was using
that +25 health pommel of fortitude big boy i bought after once again much hunting and reading through spam messages for sells lol. (somehow i can never find a higher pommel of fortitude =( )
the last is a picture of my current shield. it doesnt have any snazzy graphics or anything. However, what I HAVE noticed is that through all my searching, I have not been able to find another shield that could stand up to it (or perhaps my personal image of it) since most of the damage i take is slashing and that I am almost always in a stance.
But all this aside, what do you my friends think?
How does my Gear compare....

That second weapon is 1% damage off of perfect. You can mod it to be better, though.
Zodiak
nono lol i meant it was so hard to find someone willing to sell one lol

theyre nice but the shield isnt too great.
Zodiak
what do you mean the shield isnt too great?
im a tactics warrior, and most damage i receive on the front line is usually sword or axe
that gives me 21 defence with this shield and im in a stance 95% of time so -1 damage extra?
whats bad about it?
most shields ive seen usually have +X health but always with a condition or some other stuff i dont find usefull

A better sheild for you would be +45 hp while in stance.
Btw.. you're a tactics warrior you say? In pve or pvp? Describe your build to me please.

Well im not the best lol and im at the thirsty desert now
im War Monk
i got 10 points into swordmanship and a helmet that does +1 to swordmanship and a minor swormanship rune so i guess 12
after that i have 11 into tactics, great for the healing signet, i think i get 127 or so health per shot with that
then i put 9 into shielding hands, that gives me -11 damage per hit with shielding hands
i also have a minor rune of absorbtion on my armor, a major rune of vigor and a minor rune of strength
my strength is only 5 (4 +1 from rune) but all of my attacking skills are swordmanship based.
I dont have any elite skills so i stick with the basics
I usually start off with a sever artery which induces bleeding, my sword doubles the length of that so that really helps me out with an ongoing life draining effect.
i usually go on with using endure pain (which gives me +160 health) or shielding hands (-11dmg per hit) before going into a frenzy state since it does more damage to me.
and end off with final thrust when a monster's health is below 50% (double damage)
kinda low tech but it works well for me
oh ya and in PvE lol
