Experience for Pets

Anyone know if your pet gets the 1000 XP from finishing missions and/or the bonus/secondary part? Or does it just apply to your character?

I've never noticed my Stalker leveling up from finishing a mission, but it's quite possible. I have noticed that the game tends to try to keep your pet a level lower than you are. I was level 17 and stopped taking my pet with me for a while. Right after I turned 18, I took her along and she leveled right away. Maybe she was just really close to leveling, maybe not. It's so hard to tell since pets don't have an experience gauge.

Are pets limited to max level 20 like us player characters?

I haven't seen any pets higher than level 20, so in my experience, yes.

adding an experience gauge for our pets would be pretty helpful, plus show +exp in green over their heads like it does for us when exp is gained would be nice.

I think the idea of having to have the charm animal signet installed while using another animal spell is a big waste. Seems animal resurrect should also keep your pet etc.

they should show how much damage a pet is doing as well, like it does for us, cept in a blue color

Blue is healed damage, so maybe white?
