Guildwars Dialect

I am sorry if there prolly were like 50 topics about this or somthing, but i couldnt fine anything in search

sombody needs to comprise a list o guildwars abreviations like

Wts
Wtb
AoE
HoH

and crap like that cause i see like 50% of the time im like "say what?"

hence there should be a thread with a sticky somwhere that there prolly already is or somthing that has a list..... and i should be mentioned for bringing this up... lol yeah...

I'm wondering about the cross-usage of terms I've picked up in other games... the first to come to mind is creeps.

For some reason saying "mobs" feels odd to me as "mob" conjures up an image of a whole host of baddies. When I say creeps is it likely that most players will understand what I'm talking about?

They'll understand you if they've played WoW (or even Warcraft). And there are some points in the game, where being Mobbed by Mobs happens quite often (Mineral Springs.. shiver..)

I use mobs myself, but I started playing online games back with the old text MUD's. There mob was used for NPC's, and now I've gone and dated myself.

lol... that's where I picked up the term creeps. I was a fanatical DOTA player till I found WoW... then I couldn't get a membership due to credit card limitations (but not cash limitations... so frustrating) And WoW led me to this, the answer to all my problems well... stimulation related problems anyway.

Generally if you say mob or creep, people will know what you're talking about. It's just that "mob" is the traditional term. It was created in MUDs and meant "mobile", literally a mobile NPC. It now means any unfriendly NPC.
