This past BWE, quite a few new Guild Halls .. all with their own theme and tactical advantages (and disadvantages) were added to the game. For those that didn't get a chance to see all of the Halls, or would just like to revisit the fond memories they had of slaughtering and being slaughtered in them, you can now find pictures of each in our Gallery.

I tried to make these pictures as aesthetically pleasing as possible, so i'm curious to hear what people think of them. As always, watch for more stuff coming soon.

Very impressive. For some reason I still lose myself in the grandeure of the detailing GW has put into the designs of landscaping. The graphics are just...

That's one of those things .. being in the same Guild as Andrew, if I took ugly screenshots, i'd never hear the end of it.
I think most of these came out well, but as i've said elsewhere, i'm not too fond of the Druid's Isle ones, because the map.. needs some work done to bring it up to the level of graphic presentation that the others are at .. maps like the Isle of the Dead and the Frozen Isle just stand out visually, and i'm sure they'll all get to that level when the final passes go in. But for now..

Oh, and as a general notice to whomever reading this .. watch for some more Guild related content to be coming.

The 'defender' side of the Druid's guildhall needs work, certainly. The attacker's side looks fine. Basically the whole desert motif just isn't all that appealing - sure, it's barren, it's right for that part of the game, but it isn't what you want for a guild hall that people are supposed to want to hang out in.

Isle of the dead is nice, but unfortunately way too much of your time on that map is spent in the tar pit. As such what is one of the more impressive tilesets in the game ends up being the most boring in practice.

What ever happened to the lava guild hall?

Peace,

This might be asking a bit much, but would it be possible for someone who's explored the new Guild Halls to give a rundown of the basic offensive/defensive characteristics of each, for those of us who haven't seen them yet?

Strategies for each Guild Hall is one of the additional features that we're going to be implementing. So much for my surprise, eh? I suppose it can't be helped if it's asked for outright like that.

The first one up will likely be the Frozen Isle, as that is the Hall that ZoS uses, it's one that i'm very familiar with. After that, most likely Warrior's Isle .. and from there.. well, stay tuned I suppose.

How do you get to the Guild Halls from Ascalon City? Do you just press "M" to go to the map and click on the Guild Island? I am part of a guild, and no one from my guild knows where our guild hall is. Thanks.

Great shots Spooky!

I'm wondering what else can they add to make the Guild Hall more interesting...some rare items perhaps, on release date?

There were suggestions of putting more storage space that the Guilds can use for the extra items that the Guilds can share...wasn't it?
