Different Guilds?

I looked around and didn't find a post for this, so if I am beating a dead horse, let me know.

I think that it is important that we have the option for our characters to be in different guilds. I have a couple of good RL friends who have some RL friends that I don't know. They can't pick what guild to be in, because they don't want to pick sides, and their friends don't want to join my guild because they want to be the leader of their own (selfish? A bit. But maybe I'm selfish...I have a good guild...I'm not leaving it). So does anyone think it would be a good idea to have the option of letting different characters be in different guilds?

Also, while I am here, I am sure someone will read this post.....

I HATE how people relate this game to other games! Yea, it should have X and X feature, like WoW. We had this in Lineage, and it would be a great idea. EQ2 is so much less restrictive. Blah blah...stop relating it to other games and just MAKE or COMMENT on a suggestion! Sheez...

Should characters be allowed to be in different guilds?

Yes they should. They took the easy way out by not allowing it, instead of thinking of ways they could help guilds to stop people who exploit it. (Like guild ranks instead of just member officer leader)

I don't agree. I think if you make a commitment to a guild, that's your guild. Friend lists work fine for everything else, but guild membership should be done by account as they are. Imagine having to invite every new PvP build into the guild and have it leave... *ugh*

Works perfectly at the moment imho.

I agree with Zixax. I'm with my guild and my guild only. Other guilds that I enjoy running with I have on my friends list.
