How you get rid of your pet??

Pretty new to the game. Was told that someone in Regeant Vally can get rid of your current pet so you can get a new one... if so.. where abouts is this guy?

It is Jarrel (Or Jarred?) the tamer who stands slightly behind the Ranger Trainer in Regent's Valley.

Pre-searing - Jarrel the Tamer is right next to Ranger Nente the guy who gave you the quest to tame a stalker.
Post-Searing - Jarrel the Tamer is just outside Ascalon in Old Ascalon
