A Question for Axe Warrior Gurus...

Does anyone know where I can find a list and/or screenies of the different types of axes? I've seen Sephis, Chaos, Piercing, Hand, Double-bladed, etc.

Also, can someone tell me what are the advantages of piercing vs. slashing damage?

Your probably going to just see them as you find them, i don't know of any collections of screenshots of weapons. Also, sometimes weapons of the same type will look different, kinda a unique aspect.
As for piercing/slashing, there seems to be no difference. However, some pieces of armor will have +?? armor (vs.piercing/slashing). My necro armor offers +15 vs. piercing, therefore i take less damage from the piercers

Thanks, good to know. I guess I need to run around and do some tests. What I'd really like to know is, does piercing damage make a difference using a "slashing" attack?

For example, I use Cyclone Axe alot! Maybe I'm over-anazlying, but to me it makes more sense if a slashing axe would do more damage using this skill. I have a really nice piercing axe, but if I can't use it to the full potential, why bother?

The type of damage the axe does doesn't affect your skill damages just a refernces for particular defense ratings of your opponent. I believe that all axes are the same damage type piercing damage come for bow weapons
