Akee.... well I am almost at ascension... and for the last 18 levels I have been pondering whether being N/W was a good choice over N/Me or N/Mo.... well now is my chance to find out I guess(that and unlock skills w/o making a new character ). But im just puzzled over a few questions:
1) If I change professions, how do I get new skills(buy em, do old quests?)?
2) If I decide to go back to being a warrior(I assume you can by doing a quest), will I get my skills back?
3) How hard are the quests?
Appreciate it

1. ) You've got it right. Buy them and do older quests, just like your other professions.
2. ) Yes.
3. ) I found the Elementalist one to be pretty easy. I wouldn't think any of them would be terribly difficult, either.

Wha... you can change your 2nd profession following ascension? Wow, that's news to me!
Uhm... is there anything else that happens when you ascend?

One thing to note when you change your secondary - you can't change back till you do this quest for that secondary.
Example: If you are War/Monk and do the Necro quest you change to Necro - but you can't change back to Monk till you do the Monk quest.
Its kinda stupid and can really be a pain if you don't know this, as some of these quests are quite hard and having a new secondary that you arn't really familiar with can make them near impossible.
The Ranger and Monk ones are a little harder than the others. The Necro is stupid easy.

Can you only change after ascension? I'm almost sure I saw someone mention about a week ago that he had changed around level 18.
I have been to Destiny's Gorge, but none of the npc's wants to talk to me (barring the usual bunch plus a single quest if I recall correctly).

The subjob change quests are in the desert. I believe you must first do "The Forgotten Ones' quest and then you can head to where the respective subjob class change NPC is. There is are different ones in each outpost. The only one I remember is the Mesmer one in Destiny's Gorge. This is also leading up to gaining 15 attribute points, so you may want to look around for that post somewhere in here...

jFrom what I've read my suggestion (and my plan) is to do all of the skill change quests, since after you've done the quest you can change at any time, no limits. So with your level 20 char. you can try out every class and see how you like them.

Don't forget you will have to go back and get ALL of the skills for each sub you change to. That means each skill trader, each skill quest, and you will have to get enough skill points banked to do such.
