Life Barrier + 12 hours = cause for baldness

Where can I find Life Barrier? Please don't point me out to: http://www.xennon.co.uk/eliteskills/...tPinesouls.JPG

I spent 12 hours straight cycling those spawn points and clearing the entire map. It's not there. Where is it now?

EDIT: I just...had some really, really bad luck. It finally showed...finally...

I've spent a while searching there myself. It's not bad luck, the spawn is just ridiculously rare. Still looking..

If the spawn is anything like the one in Perdition rock shared by Maxine and Harn Coldstone, then your problem might be that the boss shares a single spawn point with another boss creature.

In perdition rock, I found that zoning out did not do a random pick for either boss to spawn, the previous selected boss would always remain the same. In order to force a new random pick for either boss, I had to travel to a different town on the map or log out of the game before returning back.

I clear Frozen Forest 6 times for this skill=s only. -*-

Very grinding and annoying.

This is the same for the spell called Ether Prodigy later on in the ring of fire mission, the boss shares a bloody spawn point and ive been in close on 20 times now and havent had the boss spawn, i was starting to wonder if it was going to.

He eventually did...

Heh - I went in for Life Barrier last night and got it on the first try. Took forever to get the boss to use the skill, it was hellishly difficult to stay alive long enough to get him to use it. Just keep at it and you'll eventually get it.

Spell Breaker in Snake Dance is a different story...

With the update, it could be worth it to look around the maps a bit more. There actually are more boss spawns, and I don't think Xennon has all the new spawns listed.

Spent 3 hours looking for him...Finding him then not getting the skill because he never uses it I used henchies...maybe this time I won't but damn is it annoying

Hmm. I thought with the new update, you dont have to wait for him to use the skill anymore. Just kill the boss, use SoC, then pick the skill you want to learn.

You can get life barrier from quickroot right outside of the beacon's perch in lonar's pass... it is like... right outside of the gate, you can see him by holding ctrl... it is up in a mountain along with 2-3 mob.

And no... quickroot doesn't spawn everytime, but since it spawn right outside usually... that means you can go in and out to respawn it pretty fast.

The only problem now is that you need the boss dead to capture... before you could have just rush in and SoC before you see it even do anything (it does life barrier the moment you can see it on the radar).

Ive got life barrier from the location on this site you posted (xenon) it took me like 1 hour till the boss spawn and actualy cast it yes it was a pain to get it (that before the new update with the easy skill cap system)
