Just picked up guildwars and...

.. ive settled on a N\Me and of course im still in pre searing.

was hoping some other necros and secondary me's can point out what skills i should have before heading into post searing.

so far ive got the skills from the 1st necro and mesmer, and the skills from the second necro in the catacombs.

also like to say that ive come from WoW and this game blows it away visually and balance wise, best 50$ ive spent all year.

Hmm, try doing everyone quest u can find that give u skills, but dont worry about missing to much since you'll be able to get it again later. My one real suggestion is to make sure u get the ressurection signet while ur there. N/Me as your choice will work wonders as support, and im sure you'll find that out on ur journeys .

There is a list on this site where it says all the skills you can get in pre-searing. For my first character, I stayed until level 8 and then went through the academy

Wow... this one needs to get a temp ban before he screws some new person out of their account.

As for the Necro... at least stay until you're 6 or 7 level, and then join the academy. Do every quest you can because with it you get new skills as rewards.

Also, make sure to head to the Abbey, some Necro skills can be found there.

Has anyone tried to explain to this person why this cannot be done even? Before accusing him/her of trying to swindle a noob out of there account.

Luis Cruz99 you cannot use other people's keys for online games. The only way would be if someone purchased the game and gave you thier key. Now why would they do that? and even if its someone that tried the game and don't like it keys cannot be used for 2 accounts. Once a key has been used it is usless for anyone else.
So none will give you a key sorry. And best thing to do is like one said you need to wait untill price drops if you cannot afford the game. And you need to consider the fact that you need a good PC to run this game well. read up on it before and make sure your computer can play it.

I'm worried about the one person who's new, and wants to help him out... so they give him their account information, or CD KEY before using it and now they're S.O.L.

It's common knowledge that giving an account key to someone else, unless part of a promotion is borderline illegal. Keys are just not meant to be distributed without the software in the manner that he's asking. I think it was fair to say that an explanation was not really necessary.

I see where it is your comming from but I cannot help to notice this looks like a young kid using mom's pc and wants to try out the game because he saw a trailer.
You may be right, although I don't know anyone in thier right mind that would give out all thier account info before even trying it themselves.

In pre-searing there are 3 quests for the Necromancer to get skills from. 1st is from Necromancer Munne in the Catacombs. 2nd is from Kasha Blackblood in the Green hills country. 3rd is from Oberan the Reviled deep in the catacombs also the one you talk to for the charr in the catacombs quest.

For the Mesmer I've only found two. 1st is Lady Althea outside of Ascalon city and 2nd from Vassar in Foibles Fair
